There are over 500,000 youth incarcerated in the United States, which means there at least half as many parents out there who struggle with staying connected with their children. No parent expects their child to be incarcerated, so when it happens it puts a strain on them, not just mentally, but financially as well. When parents are (as I say) serving time with their children, it's often not easy to be a support for their incarcerated child and the children they have at home. Sarah's Vine understand the importance of having the support needed at the time you need it most.
